Adventure seekers can get their thrills dune buggying or quad biking in the Agafay Desert. The foothills of the Atlas Mountains provide myriad opportunities for hiking and mountain biking – we can arrange a guide or, if you want to go it alone, provide a pre-programmed mobile phone. Idyllic Lake Lalla Takerkaust is a 40-minute hike from the hotel – the walk is a joy in itself, but that’s not all. Picnic by the shore, stop for a leisurely lunch at French restaurant Le Flouka, or even take to the water on a jet ski. Camel trekking, para-glading and hot air ballooning are all available close by too.

The Atlas mountains are literally on our doorsteps. Hire a local guide who will take you through small Berbere villages and spectacular landscapes.
